Gamble for Gambia Charity Poker Tournament
Every year, the EEE society has hosted a charity poker tournament in order to raise funds for the Gambia Solar Energy Project, who are committed to providing sustainable light and energy solutions to rural schools and communities within The Gambia.
The night was run in collaboration with the Strathclyde University Poker Association, who helped in ensuring the night was run smoothly, as well as providing all of the necessary provisions.
With much gratitude to Dr Scott Strachan, who runs the GSE project and helped immensely in providing assistance both monetary and advice-wise, the night managed to successfully raise over £300 for the charity.
